At the age of seven, Tim Hannig learned how to make a thimble
disappear. A few years later, Tim performed a show for his
4th grade class. He certainly had no idea that someday he
would be entertaining and inspiring students for the rest
of his life!
At the age of 17, Tim signed a deal that made him the youngest
contracted performer in any show at Six Flags Great America.
Over the next 3 summers, Tim entertained over 900 audiences
with his one-man music, magic, and variety show at Six Flags
Theme Parks in Illinois, Georgia, and New Jersey.
As a sophomore in college, Tim began performing in elementary
schools, performing Daytime Assembly and Family Night shows.
After getting a degree in Communications, Tim got a "real
job" in sales with AT&T. Of course, Tim couldn't
stay away from performing. One year later, he left the job
he loved at AT&T to return to what he loves even more...performing
for kids and families! (take a look at Tim's schedule
or his "applause",
and you'll see that he must be doing something right!)
In addition to his work in elementary schools, Tim has also
performed at the Arie Crown Theater, repeatedly at private
parties for the Chicago White Sox, and multiple times in our
nation's capital at The White House.
Tim has a passion for encouraging kids to make good choices
that reflect positive character qualities. Every week, Tim
performs in front of hundreds (and sometimes thousands!) of
people. He performed for over 80,000 people last year alone!
Tim says, "Although I have a lot of fun with what I do,
I take it very seriously. I try to give each and every show
110%. My goal is to connect with every student, teacher, and
parent in my audience, and to leave them with the inspiring
messages that make The Pro-Kids Show so effective."
Tim and his wife Sacha make their home in the Chicago suburbs,
and have three "Pro Kids" of their own!
